Music Ministry

Music has always played an important role in the worship of God’s people. The purpose of the Music Ministry is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ through song, encourage believers in their walk with Christ, lead the congregation in worship and provide an avenue through which individuals may share their gift and be an integral part of the worship service. The Music Ministry spreads the Word of God through music experiences. The Music Ministry also enables choir members to grow spiritually by committing their time and talents to God. The Music Ministry provides worship music for assigned church worship services and special services outside of the church.

The Music Ministry of New Mt. Zion M.B. Church is a diverse ministry that enhances the worship service as well as merge and discipline our talents in order to worship God more effectively. The ministry presents a variety of music to include: Traditional Gospel, Hymns, Contemporary Gospel, and Praise and Worship.  The Music Ministry encompasses Choirs, a Music Staff and Praise Team Ministries.
